A Fibroblast Plasma pen works by transferring electrostatic energy to the surface of the skin by creating tiny plasma flashes between the pen and your skin, resulting in tiny dots.  The pen doesn't actually touch your skin, the flash does.

The tiny dots are the result of very superficial burns to the skin and is known as sublimation. Basically the conversion of a substance from the solid to the gaseous state without its becoming liquid. Once the treatment is finished a small darker scab will be present. When the body heals itself the mole/skintag will be removed and new skin will be present.
